*My favorite  Marshmallow Fondant Recipe*

Making MMF is easy, delicious and cheaper then store bought fondant.

What you will need are the following ingredients:

*450 grams marshmallows
*900 grams of confectioners sugar
*1  1/2 tbsp. water
*1 tsp. of extract.
*high ratio shortening or Crisco or Trex

  1. Put the marshmallows and water  into a microwaveable bowl and heat on high for 30 seconds. Stir (with greased spoon) and continue to heat at 30 second intervals until the MM are melted.
  2. Slowly add the icing sugar in parts, stirring after each addition until combined.
  3. Grease hands and work surface. Knead until smooth and no longer sticky.
  4. Grease and wrap tightly in cling wrap and leave to firm- if you wish to add color and flavoring at this point it makes it much easier to work with since it is warm and pliable.

This MMF can be stored at room temperature in a plastic bag and then an air tight tupper for at least a month.
This, of course, is not my personal recipe. I seen this recipe 100 times so wouldn't know who to credit with it's origins but I have made it many times and works well for me.

Enjoy it and begin to create beautiful and fun MMF cookies, cake coverings and cupcake decorations.  There is so much information available on the internet for teaching techniques. Take the time and learn-make a Sugar wish come true! T
